VICTOR CHURCH CELEBRATES 100 YEARS!!

Victor Baptist Church, Branson, Missouri, will celebrate 100 years on Sunday, June22nd, 2025. Please mark your calendars to join us on this joyful occasion.  The morning worship service will begin at 11:00am with a fellowship luncheon immediately following. A Celebration Service will begin at 2:00pm with a reception held afterward.  Victor Baptist Church was organized on July 5, 1925, meeting out of a rural one room school, Victor School House. In August of 1953, a board of trustees elected to purchase the school for their church building. On April 4, 1954, the deed to the church was recorded. On August 14, 1955, the church elected to construct two rooms on the west end of the building to be used as classrooms. In September of 1957,a parking lot was added. From 1957 through 1965 the church continued to make improvements to their building and in 1966 the church voted to pay a full-time pastor for church services. As the church continued to grow, a basement was built and a twenty-by twenty-six-foot addition.  During the years of 1973-1974 the members elected to start a pastor retirement plan and to purchase a parsonage providing housing for the preacher. By March of 1975 the church indebtedness for the additions and parsonage providing housing for the preacher. By March of1975 the church indebtedness for the additions and parsonage were paid in full.

On January 7, 1976, Kenny Robinette was called to fill the position of full-time preacher and Victor Baptist Church continued to grow, purchasing a church van and starting a Children’s Church Program. By the end of the summer in 1979 another building program was begun, adding a large new sanctuary and other improvements.  The Lord continued to bless, and Victor Baptist Church continued to grow! In 2004 the current 750 seating capacity building was constructed, keeping the historical one-room school house and older additions as our Children’s Church and Youth building. On July 10, 2016, the church held a note burning ceremony.  We are blessed to have Kenny and Carol Robinette continuing their ministry at Victor and we will celebrate their fifty years of service in 2026.  We look forward to the future to see how the Lord will continue to use “The Church That Love Built.”
